These ads are not run by Google and nor is the Facebook page. So these could be basically called fake pages posing as Google Bard.

Many people are getting interested in learning about artificial intelligence as there has been some recent breakthroughs. For example, people are learning ways improve their skills of efficiency with AI services like ChatGPT. Scammers are taking this opportunity for their own purposes.

How would you know if this is a fake ad?

You can click on the link of the page which will take you to the Facebook page’s feed. If you keep scrolling down eventually you will see random cat videos or memes which will not be published by the companies like Google, or OpenAI.

Another red flag is check the ending of the URL of the page. It will have some random name.

But some of these pages have ‘official blue tick’!

Yes, often they do. Perhaps the first got a page verified for something else and then changed the name and get up to look like Bard AI.

So beware and let your friends know too. I have seen some people on my friend list getting duped by this scam.
